Encabezan 'Glee' y The Vampire Diaries' los Teen Choice Awards

CIUDAD DE MÉXICO (15/JUN/2010).- Las series "Glee" y "The Vampire Diaries" encabezan las categorías para la próxima gala de los Teen Choice Awards, mientras que "Iron Man 2" y "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" se postulan entre los filmes favoritos, al igual que Justin Bieber, Drake, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga y Shakira, entre los exponentes nominados.  

La ceremonia se llevará a cabo el próximo 9 de agosto bajo la conducción de la cantante Katy Perry, por lo que el público podrá votar para elegir a sus favoritos a través de la página oficial de los premios en Internet.  

En la lista de nominados en el mismo género destacan "The Big Bang Theory", "Glee", "Modern family", "Sonny with a Chance" y "Wizards of Waverly Place" como Show de Comedia. Steve Carell, Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez y Demi Lovato.  

En Drama, los nominados son "Gossip Girl", "Grey's Anatomy", "House" y "The Secret Life of the American Teenager", en tanto que para Serie de Ciencia Ficción están "Fringe", "Lost', 'Smallville", "Supernatural" y "The Vampire Diaries".  

Las series nominadas en la categoría de Acción son "24", "Burn Notice", "Chuck", "Human Target" y "NCIS: Los Angeles", Choice TV: Animated Show. Para Show Animado los contendientes son "American Dad", "The Cleveland Show", "Family Guy", "South Park" y "Star Wars: The Clone Wars".  

En Reality Show compiten "The Hills", "Jersey Shore", "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", "The Price of Beauty" y "Taking The Stage", así como "American Idol", "America's Next Top Model", "Dancing with the Stars", "Project Runway" y "Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew" podrían llevarse el galardón en el rubro de competencia.  

En filmes de aventura se encuentran "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra", "Kick-Ass", "Robin Hood", "Sherlock Holmes" y "The Losers". En Ciencia Ficción "2012", "Avatar", "District 9", "Iron Man 2" y "The Time Traveler's Wife"; y en Fantasía "Alice in Wonderland", "Clash of the Titans", "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince", "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" y "The Twilight Saga: New Moon".  

En el género dramático, las favoritas son "The Blind Side", "Dear John", "The Last Song", "Remember Me" y "The Runaways", en tanto que Comedia Romántica "The Back-up Plan", "Just Wright", "Letters to Juliet", "The Proposal" y "Valentine´s Day".  

"Date Night", "Get Him to the Greek", "Hot Tub Time Machine", "Killers" y "She´s Out of My League" integran la categoría de Comedia, al igual que "A Nightmare on Elm Street", "Paranormal Activity", "Shutter Island", "Splice" y "The Stepfather" la de terror.  

Los posibles ganadores para Filme Animado son "How to Train Your Dragon", "Marmaduke", "The Princess and the Frog", "Shrek Forever After" y "Toy Story 3".  

Para Artista Masculino están Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, Drake, Adam Lambert y Usher, mientras que en la categoría femenina compiten Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, Shakira y Taylor Swift. Otros nominados en la extensa lista son The Black Eyed Peas, Glee Cast, Selena Gomez & The Scene, New Boyz y Young Money, como agrupación.
